BAREBONES | Self published book and solo show2023

I wandered alone in rural towns and followed friends up mountains with no clear paths. Sometimes, the photos mirrored the loneliness that I felt. Other times, they captured fleeting moments of hope and wonder. Together, they explore the process of recovering my voice.

子供の頃から心の境界線が薄く、周りの環境に敏感だった。当時「弱み」だと思っていた観察力・共感力は、今になって考えてみれば私の作品の原動力であった。感じ取ったことをただ素直に表現する。時には写真に、時には文章に。初となる個展では、2015から2022年に撮ったフィルム写真が並ぶ。地方での一人旅や先が見えない登山道など。これらの作品には、その時に感じていた孤独感が投影されていることもあれば、束の間の希望や感動が映し出されることもある。一度失っていた自分らしさ、想像力を取り戻すジャーニーを描く。
